KUWAIT: The National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) celebrated Thursday the winners of an art competition held to honor the 1977 Kuwaiti TV series "Darb Al-Zalag” or the "slippery road”, KUNA reported. The series, one of the most well-known in Kuwaiti drama, follows the adventures of two brothers as they try, often unsuccessfully, to find ways to set up a business after becoming rich overnight. It stars three of Kuwait’s acting legends: Abdulhussain Abdulredha, Saad Al Farraj and Khaled Al-Nafisi.

The competition was preceded by an exhibition held at the National Kuwait Library which coincided with the death anniversary of its star Abdulredha, who passed away on August 11, 2017, according to KUNA. It was organized by NCCAL in cooperation with the Arts Center Company for Art Production and Distribution. Maytham Abdul, Fatima Sadiq and Fatima Yusuf won the jury selection, while Saba Al-Said, Omar Al-Ariman were voted for by the public.
