KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Meteorological Department said the country’s weather during the weekend will be very hot during the day and hot to warm at night. Director of the Department Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi told KUNA that the country is affected by an extension of the Indian seasonal depression accompanied by a very hot and relatively humid air mass on the coastal areas.

Al-Qarawi explained that the weather during the day will be very hot with variable winds between 10 and 28 kilometers per hour. The expected maximum temperatures will be between 48 and 50 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light-to-moderate with waves between 1 and 3 feet. Al-Qarawi said that the weather on Saturday will be very hot and relatively humid in coastal areas, with northwesterly to variable winds between 12 and 35 km/h.
