Technology City covers 140,000 square meters

KUWAIT: The Acting President of the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA), Abdullah Al-Ajmi, announced the first stages of establishing the Technology City in Jaber Al-Ahmad City, adding that the Authority signed a consultancy contract to develop the land allocated for the project, which covers an area of 140,000 square meters.

He added that this contract is an important step towards the sustainable development of the zone designated for the establishment of the Technology City in Jaber Al-Ahmad City. This is to make it an advanced center for innovation and investment in information technology.

Al-Ajmi explained that the development of this zone will contribute to enhancing the Authority’s capabilities to provide advanced technological services to create a fruitful environment for technology companies and service providers. The city will be an oasis of knowledge, the headquarters of international technology companies, data centers, and training centers in everything related to technology. — KUNA
