KUWAIT: The Deanship of Student Affairs at Kuwait University organized the final forum for its activities for the academic year 2023/2024 on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the auditorium of the administrative building in Sabah Al-Salem University City, in the presence of the Secretary-General of Kuwait University, Dr Fayez Al-Dhafiri.
The forum included a visual presentation of the activities of the Deanship in its various departments during the academic year, which reflects the volume of achievements. The event is aimed at developing students’ skills and enhancing the spirit of cooperation and creativity among them. The ceremony began with the speech of Prof Dr Jassim Al-Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, who expressed his thanks and gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the activities of the deanship.
The Secretary-General of Kuwait University, Prof Dr Fayez Al-Dhafiri, and many personalities and bodies were honored for contributing to the success of the Deanship’s activities, most notably, former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Anwar Abdul Latif Al-Barjas; Assistant Secretary General for Facilities Management Mohamed Saud Al-Sulaiman; Dr Intisar Al-Mudahka (faculty member); Dr Uhood Al-Hajri (faculty member); Dr Najah Al-Thaidi (faculty member); and Makiya Mohamed Sayegh.
The retired employees of the Deanship of Student Affairs were also honored. They include Jamal Nasser Bouarki, Jaber Ahmed Dashti, Kholoud Ahmed Al-Yaqoub, Talal Nazzal Al-Maasab, Wael Khaled Al-Wazzan, and Rabou Mohamed Al-Fahad. The forum concluded with a speech from the Dean of Student Affairs, in which he praised the dedication and efforts made by all participants. — KUNA
