KUWAIT: On Monday, Kuwait University began receiving applications for admission for the first semester 2024/2025 electronically for students who meet the admission requirements from Kuwaitis. The admissions are for children of Kuwaiti women, citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, graduates of the unified system, the religious institute, American schools, and graduates of English schools (Kuwait schools only). The program will continue until July 25.
The University Acting Secretary General’s spokesman, Dr. Fayez Al-Dhafiri, said in a press release that the admission and registration hall in Sabah Al-Salem University City is open to receive those wishing to apply for admission from July 18 to 25 during official working hours. Al-Dhafiri stressed the university’s keenness to provide a detailed guide for the admission, the programs available for selection, and the required university periods.
He added that there are clear guidelines mentioned on the official websites of the university for the categories for enrollment with the time periods for accepting applications for admission, indicating that the number of student admissions for the year 2024/2025 will be announced after the completion of the registration process. Regarding the new specializations offered for the year 2024/2025, Al-Dhafiri pointed to the nursing specialization (College of Allied Medical Sciences), which the university reintroduced in response to the labor market in order to solve the shortage of staff. — KUNA
