Firefighters battle blaze at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital

KUWAIT: Firefighters controlled a miniscule fire, which occurred at Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospital early Monday dawn with no injuries reported, said Kuwait Fire Force (KFF). A statement by the KFF revealed that Minister of Health Dr Ahmad Al-Awadhi and acting KFF chief Major General Khaled Abdullah were present on site to follow up on the incident.

Meanwhile, Health Ministry spokesman Dr Abdullah Al-Sanad affirmed in a press statement on X that all hospital staff and patients were safe. Health Ministry officials are on site to make sure that all were unharmed and that medical services would continue, he added. — KUNA
