Interior Ministry boosts security at husseiniyas

KUWAIT: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lt Gen Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to maintaining preparedness and vigilance to protect the security at the husseiniyas.

During an inspection tour of husseiniyas in the governorates of Jahra and Hawally on Saturday, he urged the security services to ensure the safety of the visitors and remove any obstacles or difficulties that might face them.

Sheikh Salem also met with several field leaders to review the Ministry’s field security plan for securing places of husseiniyas during these days, according to a press release from the Ministry’s General Department of Security Relations and Media. — KUNA
