KUWAIT: Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Science Club, Talal Al-Kharafi, stressed that the new Board of Directors will strive to provide support, develop the Club’s programs, events, and activities, and activate joint cooperation with state ministries and bodies, as well as the private sector and civil society organizations.

This is aimed at developing and investing the energies of young people for their benefit and that of Kuwait. Al-Kharafi said on Thursday that the club’s assembly recommended the new board of directors for its next session for the next two years, which will continue its volunteer work, achieve the goals of the scientific club, and draw up new policies that enable it to sustain its development.

He pointed out that the new board of directors believes in the need to rehabilitate the club’s facilities to suit current requirements, pointing out that the previous board of directors prepared all the necessary plans to build wonderful programs for Kuwaiti youths. He expressed his appreciation to the members of the Assembly for their attendance and the confidence they placed in the new board of directors.

He appreciated the great role and distinguished efforts of the Club and its affiliates, as well as exerting efforts to maintain its cadres. The first meeting of the new board of directors resulted in his recommendation as chairman, Sheikha Sheikha Al-Sabah as vice chairman, Ali Al-Juma as secretary general, and Abdulrahman Al-Fedhala as treasurer. He pointed out that the membership of Aws Al-Nisf, Yousef Al-Hamad, Faisal Al-Bishr, Abdullah Al-Faraj, and Asrar Al-Ansari was also recommended. — KUNA
