KUNA Kids get a glimpse into world of journalism

KUWAIT: KUNA Kids visited Kuwait Times and Kuwait News on a field trip, giving them a glimpse into the world of journalism before and during the digital era. The kids (with inquisitive minds) learned about journalism and the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. Despite growing up in a digital age, the children were fascinated by the printed paper copies of Kuwait Times, marveling at the distributed copies of the 63-year-old paper edition they were given by Kuwait Times team, exploring the texture, color, and the vintage TV featured Kuwait Times inaugural edition.

With eyes that have never seen the world without technology, KUNA Kids visited Kuwait Times Archives Room, which captivated their attention as they explored historical pages with genuine curiosity. This journey took them on a travel to the past, a time they have no memory of, making the experience even more pleasant and interesting. It was an opportunity for them to witness the world before digital technology and appreciate the evolution of media.

The kids were also thrilled by the excitement of being on camera, where they visited Kuwait Times Studio to experience the thrill of working behind the scenes in video reporting. Throughout the visit, the children were full of questions and eagerness to understand the type of personality a reporter needs and the detailed process of creating a printed newspaper. The Kuwait Times field trip was a memorable adventure for the KUNA Kids, sparking their curiosity and enthusiasm in the field of journalism. It was not just an educational experience but also a delightful journey.
