Burgan Bank celebrates graduation of aspiring employees from KGDP
In line with its dedicated human capital development strategy

KUWAIT: Burgan Bank recently celebrated two of its talented and high-performing employees for completing the one-year Kuwait Graduate Development Program (KGDP) in collaboration with the Kuwait Institute for Banking Studies (KIBS) under the umbrella of the bank’s dedication of human capital development and advancement of Kuwaiti talents.

The graduation ceremony was held in the presence of Burgan Bank’s management, including Naqeeb Amin, General Manager - Human Resources and Development, Naser Al-Qaisi, General Manager - Retail, as well as Rana Al-Nebari - Director General at KIBS along with Waleed Al-Khubeazi, Executive Director, Organization and Administration Sector at CBK. Burgan Bank’s participation in the KGDP is a testament to its continued support towards employees and the holistic development of its human capital.

On this occasion, Naqeeb said: “It is a very proud moment for all of us across the Bank to celebrate the graduation of two of our most talented and aspiring employees, whose determination and commitment set an example for other talented candidates across Burgan. In honor of the Burgan graduates’ remarkable performance throughout the program, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Asfour was selected to deliver the ceremonial graduation speech on behalf of all graduates from across different banks. Today, KGDP is considered one of the most expansive and highly-regarded academic programs that equip and prepare future leaders in the banking and financial industry in Kuwait.

Throughout their one-year program, the Burgan graduates gained wide domestic and international exposure to the latest technologies, theories, and practices in topics such as anti-financial-crime (AFC), cyber security, and digital trends. They also achieved wider practical experience during their two-month field rotation across Burgan’s peer banks in Jordan.

It is worthy to note that Burgan Bank appreciates the opportunities IBS and CBK offer to the Kuwaiti youth as it is essential to the prosperity of Kuwait’s future.
