Burgan Bank takes part in AUK’s Career Growth Fair

Part of its ongoing efforts to support and invest in Kuwait’s aspiring talents

KUWAIT: Burgan Bank recently participated in the annual Career Growth Fair organized and hosted by the American University in Kuwait (AUK), offering undergraduates and fresh graduates valuable internships and employment opportunities. The Bank’s participation in the one-day event comes as part of its dedicated human capital development strategy and its unwavering efforts to invest in the best and most aspiring professional talents in Kuwait’s banking and financial market.

Commenting on Burgan’s participation in the fair, Abdulwahab Jamal Abdulraheem - Executive Manager - Talent Acquisition at Burgan Bank, said: “We were delighted to be present once again at AUK’s Career Fair, where our HR representatives had the opportunity to meet some of the brightest and most eager talents. We understand that the search for the right job can be an overwhelming journey, and that’s why our representatives were happy to answer all of the job seekers’ questions in detail and even set up one-on-one screening interviews with the potential candidates.”

In addition to the professional insights about the Burgan work experience, the Bank’s representatives also shared vital banking awareness and financial literacy with the event’s crowd as part of its ongoing support for the “Let’s Be Aware” (Diraya) campaign – which continues to run for its fourth consecutive year under the supervision of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) and the Kuwait Banking Association (KBA), with the unanimous support of Kuwaiti banks.

It serves to note that Burgan Bank’s dedicated program for attracting and developing Kuwait’s outstanding national talents continues throughout the employees’ work journey, whereby all staff are offered numerous opportunities for growth and development that are tailored to their professional needs and personal preferences. These efforts span multiple programs including Ro’ya, in addition to other learning opportunities that are offered in partnership with leading institutions such as the Kuwait Institute for Banking Studies’ (KIBS) certification programs.
