Angola may host world swimming championship

KUWAIT: President of International Swimming Federation Hussein Al-Musallam said it is time for Africa to host the Juniors World Swimming Championship, during a meeting with Angola’s Vice President Esperanca da Costa.

The request of Angola to host the Juniors World Swimming Championship in 2027 was discussed in addition to the continuation of the federation’s support of swimming in Angola. More than 300,000 children and 150 physical education teachers benefitted from the program since 2023.
