Kuwait bags ten medals at Keti Cup championship

KUWAIT: Kuwait National Girls Rhythmic Gymnastics team proved outstanding during the Keti Cup Championship that is being held in Georgia by winning 10 medals (5 gold, 4 silver and one bronze).

Kuwait’s Aljazi Al-Haroun, born in 2015, who participated in level A won first place and gold medal in the hoop category and second place and the silver medal in the general individual. Her colleague Talia Behbehani, born in 2014, won first place and gold medal in the ribbon category.

Raya Al-Qassar, born in 2013, who participated in the “A” level won the ribbon’s gold medal, the hoop’s silver and the bronze for general individual.

Amina Al-Kandary (2013) won two gold medals of the general individual and the ball. She also won a silver medal in the hoop in the “A” level while Nabeela Al-Kharafi (2013) won the silver medal in the same level. Kuwait Gymnastics Federation congratulated the champions and lauded the efforts of their coaches and affirmed the importance of participating in this international tournament in which more than 300 players are competing.
