KUWAIT: Kuwait Tomooh Sports Club for mental disabilities participated in Kuwait Sports Day with a large number of players, board members, technical and administrative departments. The club participated in the 5km walking and 15km biking. The club received distinguished appreciation, as HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Dr Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah received player Mariam Theyab and lauded her participation in the marathon, he also commended her achievements in the sport of the mentally challenged.

State Minister for National Assembly Affairs, State Minister for Youth Affairs, State Minister for Communications Affairs Dawood Maarafi received all Tomooh players at the end of the marathon.

Tomooh Club Treasurer Hanaa Al-Zawawi thanked HH the Prime Minister and Youth Minister for their kind gestures that reflect the interest of state officials in the mentally challenged headed by HH the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

She said will continue providing the positive environment to fulfill the aspect of integration and social empowering and form the integrated personality of the mentally challenged through competitive sport, and make sports achievements locally, regionally and internationally, that in addition to the social, cultural, health, religious and entertainment activities, and participating in Kuwait Sports Day is one of them. She also thanked the Public Authority for Sport for organizing the sports day.
