AMMAN: Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) – a subsidiary of Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) – announced the election of Sheikha Dana Naser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as Chairperson of the Board of Directors, succeeding Nasser Lozi who chaired the board since 2021. Sheikha Dana Al-Sabah, the Group Chief Executive Officer of KIPCO, became Vice Chairperson of JKB in 2023.

JKB announced exceptional results for 2023, reporting total profit after taxes of JOD 90 million (KD 38.9 million), marking an outstanding growth of 380 percent compared to 2022.

The Board of Directors has recommended the distribution of 8 percent of its capital as cash dividends. The recommendation is subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Jordan and the bank’s General Assembly. On this occasion, Sheikha Dana Naser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, JKB’s Chairperson, said: "The bank’s profit growth is a strong indicator of JKB’s financial position, the success of its regional expansion strategy, and its dedication to delivering exceptional banking services.”
