Several participants were happy to be involved in such an event and called for organizing more championships as it is an ideal opportunity to promote this new sport in Kuwait and the ease of teaching juniors to practice it.
Hassan Al-Khawaja thanked all participants and businesses that sponsored the championship and support to the Palestinian children, adding that part of the revenue was allocated for the innocent children of Gaza who are under the most cruel aggression humanity has ever experienced.
He said the committee is keen on organizing such tournaments as they promote the culture of physical activity and makes sport an indivisible part of the daily routine of the society.
The Mini Goal game was officially recognized by Kuwait Olympic Committee in 2020 and played by 4 players in each side without a goalkeeper. The playground is 30 meters long and 15 meters wide, while the goal is one meter long and one meter high. It is played in two halves 10 minutes each.
