KUWAIT: In an expression of gratitude on behalf of the International Friends Club, Narjes Al-Shatti extended heartfelt appreciation to the wife of the ambassador of Mauritania for her generous hospitality and excellent organization of the Open Day for the International Friends Club. The event is part of the club’s celebration of Kuwait’s national festivities this February.
The occasion witnessed the presence of ambassadors from Kenya and Sierra Leone, alongside fellow members who represented their respective countries. They shared aspects of their cultures, donning beautiful national costumes and presenting dishes from their cuisines. Musical and dance performances representing each country added to the cultural exchange.
The members engaged in friendly competition, participating in a quiz on Kuwaiti culture and vying for titles in categories such as best costume and best cultural presentation. The attendees conveyed their gratitude to the ambassador’s wife for hosting such an enjoyable and culturally enriching event, presenting her with a token of appreciation.
