KUWAIT: Kuwait Times and Kuwait News welcomed students from the International British School on Monday, inviting them to delve into the world of journalism. Public Relations and CSR Manager Jana Alnaqeeb, along with content creator Zainab Dashti, digital creator Yousef Abu Ghazaleh and Deputy Managing Editor Faten Omar guided the visitors through an insightful tour of the Kuwait Times building. During the visit, students had the unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience and insight into the intricate process of publishing a newspaper, from news gathering to final printing.
The tour provided an invaluable educational experience for the students, allowing them to interact with professionals in the field and gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of journalism. Additionally, each student was presented with the first edition of Kuwait Times, established in 1961. This gesture not only provided a tangible link to the newspaper’s inception, but also offered a glimpse into the historical context and evolution of journalism in Kuwait, enriching the students’ understanding of Kuwait’s cultural and journalistic heritage.
To conclude the visit, students engaged in an interactive game facilitated by Zainab Dashti at Kuwait Times’ studio.
