KUWAIT: President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Confederations (KASC) Engineer Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi lauded the achievements of female shooters who participated in the Arab Women Clubs Games being held in Sharjah, UAE. The shooters won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
Al-Otaibi was at Kuwait International Airport along with Secretary General of Arab and Kuwait Shooting Federations Obaid Munahi Al-Osaimi and shooters’ families to receive them upon their return from Sharjah. He said the achievements are the result of hard work and dedication, in addition to the support of the Public Authority for Sport for shooting.
He thanked HH the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his care of the sport which contributed to making many achievements locally, regionally and internationally.
Meanwhile, Al-Osaimi said the shooters winning this number of medals adds much to the women’s sport in Kuwait and dedicated the win to HH the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, government and people of Kuwait.
Shooters Ghazlan Al-Hindi said the competition was highly competitive and her achievement was due to hard preparations and serious training by Kuwait Shooting Sport Club on daily basis.
