Mojo app: An embodiment of innovation, social commerce
Powered by BNK, Mojo teams up with Art N Dine to showcase inner beauty

KUWAIT: Yearning for a platform that seamlessly blends social interaction with the convenience of e-commerce? Look no further than Mojo, a revolutionary company that is passionate about skincare, makeup and haircare. Imagine being able to shop through videos, where you can see the products right before your eyes. As you browse through the Mojo application, not only will you find the products you love, but will also earn reward points and a percentage of every sale that comes through your reviews!

Powered by BNK, Mojo teamed up with Art N Dine to showcase its application and materialize inner beauty through painting with Art N Dine’s artist Maha Mazen in an art event hosted at Volvo Studio on Wednesday.

Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Bahar, founder and CEO of Mojo, explained to Kuwait Times that Mojo’s mission is simple yet powerful, as it aims to connect consumers to products in the easiest and most enjoyable way possible. “While browsing through our application, you will earn reward points that are like money in your pocket, ready to be used in any purchase you make. No previous purchase or conditions are required. The points are automatically accumulated as soon as you access the application. As you explore, you can see your account balance growing in Kuwaiti dinar or Omani or Saudi riyals,” he said. Bahar further elaborated that when a client makes a purchase, the product will be delivered on the same day or the next day, ensuring seamless and timely shopping experience for users of the Mojo app. Earning rewards is not limited to browsing through the app, as he added: “We offer additional opportunities for you to earn money by writing authentic reviews or recording videos about the products you have purchased. For every sale made through your video-recorded review, you not only receive a bonus reward, but also a percentage of the sale. Also, we understand the importance of privacy, thus, we offer an option to keep your reviews visible only to your friends on the application. Even in this setting, users can still earn a percentage of every single sale that happens based on their review.”

Bahar concluded by saying the Mojo team is dedicated to collaborating with local brands such as Art N Dine to contribute to the development of the local community. “We understand the importance of self–care, and we believe that art and self-expression play a vital role in nurturing inner beauty. That’s why with Art N Dine we provide a platform for those who join us today to blend their inner and outer beauty together through art,” he said.

Mazen, a full-time abstract artist at Art N Dine, told Kuwait Times: “At Art N Dine we tend to do multiple events. Today, we are present the Mojo app event that is taking place at Volvo Studio. At such public events, we tend to go for a simplified kind of art in order to facilitate the experience for the participants and provide an enjoyable experience, as I go with them step by step showing them how lovely and enjoyable art is — anyone can paint.” She also emphasized the link between Mojo and Art N Dine, as she said beauty is the core element combining both parties.

Komal Tak, a doctor at Jaber Hospital and a participating member at the event, shared: “I find it a pleasure attending the Art N Dine event today. I am here because participating in such events gives me a sense of meditation while doing some work of art, as it is very soothing and calming.”

Another participant Noura Al-Otabi, who is a dietitian, added: “I heard of this event from my friend Sara, who is also attending the event. I have always loved art, but did not give enough time, so I am here today to push myself forward as art is so relaxing to me.” Sara Al-Jassar, a program coordinator, said: “I am here today firstly because my new year’s resolution is to explore more options while I’m still young, because usually I go back home after work and waste my day without being productive. Hence, I decided to enjoy my youth and grow in different fields and artistic events like this one.”
