ICJ demands Zionistsprevent genocide, but fallsshort of ordering ceasefire

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) demanded that the Zionist entity tries to contain death and damage in the Gaza Strip, but stopped short of ordering a ceasefire.

In its highly anticipated hearing Friday, the court said it has jurisdiction to rule in the case filed by South Africa, ordered the Zionist entity to take measures to prevent acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip and said the Zionists must also prevent and punish incitement to genocide.

Furthermore, the court ordered the Zionist entity to allow humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip, and obliged it to take more measures to protect Palestinians. The court did not order the Zionist entity to end its military operations in the Gaza Strip.
