KUWAIT: Kuwait’s annual men’s chess tournament kicked off Monday with 50 participants, ending on February 1. Vice President of Kuwait Mind Sports Association Adel Al-Ameri stated in a press release that the annual tournament is considered the most important in the season, noting that the tournament is held according to the Swiss rules. Al-Ameri added that the tournament is held at the association’s headquarter in Al-Qadsia, wishing all participants the best of luck. — KUNA
