KISR: Investing in human capital, priority for Kuwait's development

Kuwait: Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) affirmed, on Sunday, the pivotal role of investing in human capital, declaring it as a priority for Kuwait's development. This came in a statement by a KISR official at the 35th spring student training course launched with participation of 50 male and female students.

During the occasion, Director of KISR's Manpower Development Department Mona Al-Failakawi said in a press release that the training course -- organized by the department for the intermediate level -- will continue till February first as it aims to develop students' skills using scientific methods through laboratory experiments and field trips.

She stated the course included several scientific programs under the guidance of a team of the institute's researchers specialized in these fields. - KUNA
