Army Chief of Staff heads to US to attend anti-IS conference

KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Khaled Al-Khedr flew yesterday to the US so as to attend a conference on “combating the so-called Islamic State” to be held on October 14-18. Khedr and his accompanying delegation were seen off at the airport by Deputy Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Abdullah Al-Nawaf Al- Sabah. —KUNA
