KUWAIT: The education ministry sent the names of stranded teachers as well as those whose residency permits have expired to the emergency committee at the Cabinet for review. Educational sources said the lists include nearly 350 names that were approved by the ministry to return to work, adding that the public education sector decided the required specialties include mathematics, English, chemistry, physical education, biology and music. Sources said in case the committee approves the names, they will be sent to the interior ministry for approval. Entry visas will then be issued for them.
