KUWAIT: HisHighness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received the visitingBahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and hisaccompanying delegation at Dasman Palace on Thursday, in presence of HisHighness Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Bahrainipremier congratulated His Highness the Amir on the occasion of the holy monthof Ramadan.
During themeeting, they exchanged friendly talks and good sentiments in an atmospherethat reflected brotherly firm and deep relations between both countries'leaders and peoples, as well as efforts to promote and develop bilateralcooperation in all fields.
The encounter wasattended by National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanem, His Highness the PrimeMinister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and several senior stateofficials. Later, His Highness the Amir hosted an iftar banquet in honor of thevisiting Bahraini Prime Minster and his accompanying delegation.
Upon his arrivalin Kuwait on a short brotherly visit, Prince Khalifa was received at theairport by His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak, First Deputy Prime Ministerand Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy PrimeMinister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, DeputyPrime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah andDeputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-MubarakAl-Sabah as well as a number of Sheikhs, ministers, advisors, senior officialsof the Prime Minister's Diwan and the two countries' ambassadors.
Prince Khalifaexpressed his pleasure to visit Kuwait to meet with His Highness the AmirSheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and to congratulate him on the holymonth of Ramadan. He added that the visit is part of a yearly habit thatreflects the official and personal appreciation to His Highness the Amir whowas honored by the world as a 'Humanitarian Leader'. Prince Khalifa said thathe seized the opportunity, during the visit, to appreciate Kuwait's honorablestances, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir, which support Bahrain'sdevelopment efforts.
The BahrainiPremier said he conveyed greetings of Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifaand Bahraini people to His Highness the Amir, the Kuwaiti government and peoplewho are highly appreciated by the Bahraini nation. He said the visit is achance to reaffirm the well-established and deep-rooted bilateral relations,and to discuss some topics aiming to develop cooperation and ties to serve theinterests of the two countries and their people.
The visit alsogives a chance to meet His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-AhmadAl-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-MubarakAl-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Bahraini Premier said. He wished everlasting progress,stability, growth, prosperity in different fields to Kuwait under theleadership of His Highness the Amir.
