In the letter, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf prayed to Allah Almighty tobestow perpetual wellbeing and good health on His Highness the Amir and toprotect him for the sake of the dear nation and its well-regarded people, sothat he could carry on fulfilling progress and prosperity ambitions. Inresponse, His Highness the Amir sent His Highness Sheikh Nawaf a letter voicingsincere thanks and appreciation to him for his wishes and prayers, wishing himwell and everybody good luck in serving the dear nation.
Meanwhile, HisHighness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received acongratulatory cable from Chief of Kuwait National Guard His Highness SheikhSalem Al-Ali Al-Sabah over his recovery from the minor health setback that hehad earlier. His Highness Sheikh Salem, and on the behalf of the NationalGuards, expressed his sincere congratulations over His Highness's recovery andhe wished him a good health so Kuwait would continue progressing under hisleadership. His highness the Amir addressed a cable to His Highness SheikhSalem Al-Ali, expressing his gratitude for his kind words.

His Highness thePrime Minister expressed his warm sentiments, on behalf of himself and allministers, in a letter he penned to His Highness the Amir, saying the nationlooks forward to many more years of prosperity under his watch. Also yesterday,His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phonecall from King Abdullah II of Jordan, checking on his health condition. HisHighness Sheikh Sabah thanked King Abdullah for his kind feelings, expressingappreciation for his concern which is part of the strong Kuwaiti-Jordanianties. His Highness the Amir also wished King Abdullah a long healthy life andmore development for Jordan.
His Highness theAmir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah had also received a phone call onSunday from Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz, inquiring about his healthafter a minor setback earlier in the day. The Saudi king expressed his bestwishes and a speedy recovery to His Highness the Amir. His Highness the Amirthanked him for his kind words and gesture, and wishing good health andprosperity for the kingdom under his leadership.
