KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace yesterday Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah and Chairman of the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) Salem Al-Uthaina.
During the reception, they gave an explanation about Kuwait's 2017-2020 national cyber security strategy aiming at setting out a roadmap for promoting information security and taking all relevant necessary measures. His Highness the Amir hailed those who are in charge of the strategy which is considered a pioneering step in the cyber security field, wishing them more progress and success.
Earlier yesterday, His Highness the Amir received National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanem, who was accompanied by the parliamentary delegation that took part in the emergency meeting of Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) on Al-Aqsa Mosque, which concluded recently in Rabat, Morocco. - KUNA
