Islam Mohammad Al-Sharaa has been working in Kuwait Times since 1983. After completing an MCSE course, he joined the editorial department in 1992, going on to head the information technology department at the paper. Sharaa has covered many events inside and outside Kuwait and has met several senior IT specialists during his assignments. On 2021 Sharaa was promoted to the post of the deputy managing editor.
