Sheikha Al-Zain said ADASA is entirely organized by the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs and it is considered as a fundamental incubator of visual art. "Here, at Al-Shaheed Park, our work today is the consolidation of the concept of celebrating work by providing space to show the youth's innovations and creations they can invest for the benefit of the country's future," she said.
Common vision
Ahmed Al-Mudayyan, a photographer, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Youth for its support. "Our group, 'The Environmental Lens,' is made up of Kuwaiti and expatriate photographers. We have a common vision, which is documenting biodiversity in Kuwait. We are looking for legal cover to work under its umbrella," he said. He said the ministry is facilitating access to licenses to reach some places with their equipment. "We came to this park to showcase pictures of wildlife in Kuwait and explain them to visitors," he added.
The festival included a variety of workshops, music concerts and exhibitions of fine arts, graffiti, calligraphy, photography, short films and some utilitarian projects. It was earlier announced that March 13 every year will be an official day to celebrate Kuwaiti youth, because it is the day on which the document "Kuwait Hears" was delivered from the youth to HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
