KUWAIT: FourAustralian College of Kuwait (ACK) students were awarded certificates for theirparticipation in an internship organized and conducted by Worley. TheAustralian Ambassador to Kuwait, Jonathan Gilbert attended the event, alongwith representatives of Worley.

RepresentingWorley were Dr Issam Hallal, Location Director, Mark Beardwood, ProjectsManager, and Cory Archibald, Training Mentor. Also representing ACK during theevent, Professor Isam Zabalawi, President of ACK, Amal Al Shihabi, Assistant tothe President for Institutional Relations, and Dr Mohammad Abdul Niby, Dean ofthe School of Engineering. Worley is a leading global provider of professionalproject and asset services in the energy, chemicals and resources sectors.

The internshipprogram which was sponsored by the Australian Ambassador took place over thecourse of two weeks. Worley organized the program where the students were givenan overview and an orientation on how a project management consulting firmoperates. The students were also given focused sessions with specialists fromtheir disciplines, along with on-site practical and hands-on experience.

Archibald praisedACK students who participated in the event, noting their hard work andwillingness to learn during the program. "The students from ACK are myfavorite. They were always very engaged. They are very intrigued and asked alot of intelligent questions, they enthusiastically participated in the project,"said Archibald. ACK would like to thank Worley for providing its students withsuch a valuable opportunity and is looking forward to future collaboration.
