Safetyof traders and employees :
BoursaKuwait considers the safety of traders, workers and their families a toppriority, so it took several precautionaryand preventive decisions and steps to safeguard their health in a way thatagrees with the instructions of the health ministry, they are:
- Closing thebourse building for the public, and carry out the trading service online andcall the broker by phone.
- Continuallysterilizing the Kuwait Bourse building to ensure a healthy working environmentfor all.
- Reduce thenumber of workers at the bourse to a minimum in a way that provides operatingrequirements.
- Prevent workersat Boursa Kuwait or brokering companies who meet conditions of house quarantinefrom working.
- Commit brokeringcompanies to provide sterilizers for workers
- Follow allpreventive and precautionary instructions of health ministry while following themdaily for any developments and updates.
Rights of traders and shareholders
- Boursa Kuwaitseeks to protect the rights of traders and shareholders, particularly the smallones to maintain their rights in trading by buying or selling according to whatthey see in investment opportunities.
- The bourseconfirms that there are dues to all shareholders with their various shares andcategories from the companies’ profits distributions that will be affectedadversely if the bourse stops.
- There aresuspended funds regarding the trading of the last three working days, and theybelong to shareholders of various shares and categories and the stopping of thebourse will lead to not receiving their financial rights which will stop theirwork and negatively affect their commitments.
