KUWAIT: The fifth Arab clubs Karate Championship was concluded on Friday at Yarmouk Club. Six gold medals were distributed to the winners of the Kata event singles and Kata groups for men and women. The tournament started with the registration of players that went smoothly due to the cooperation of all. The preliminaries were very competitive. Arab players displayed high technical talents.
Yarmouk Club secretary general Fouad Fahad Al-Failakawi lauded the support by the Public Authority for Sport (PAS) and the Kuwait Karate Federation Board headed by Mohammad. Director of the Arab Karate Federation Mohammad Al-Beloushi commended the organization of the fifth Arab championship, adding that the teams were divided into two groups. Member of the competitions committee in the Arab Karate Federation Adnan Hamza (from Saudi Arabia) said the Arab championship is considered the strongest due to the participation of the best players across the globe.
