KUWAIT: President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Engineer Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi said His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Fifth Annual Grand Prix will start March 1st and will continue until March 8th, at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Ranges, with a large participation from Kuwait, Arab and International Shooting Federations.
Eng Al-Otaibi who held a news conference on the tournament Saturday evening said that 31 countries will participate – with a total of 350 shooters and officials. The championship will be in the Skeet, Trap and Double Trap for men and women. “Olympic Champions, shooters from GCC, Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, Palestine, Lebanon and other Arab countries, as well as Europe who will participate in this special Grand Prix as it bears the name HH the Amir, does not spare anything in support of sports.

Eng Al-Otaibi said that international rules will be followed in this tournament – revealing that they have decided to double the prize money for the shooters who break the world record as an encouragement for all shooters who are participating.
