KUWAIT: Airportcustoms officers prevented an Asian passenger's attempt to smuggle a largequantity of psychoactive drugs. Special systems at the airport gave signals ofthe illicit material, and a physical search resulted in 2,500 Tramadol tabletsbeing found. The man, who was arrested on arrival at T4, was sent to concernedauthorities.
Municipalitycampaign
A HawallyMunicipality emergency team carried out a campaign to remove encroachments fromstate property. Head of the team Ahmad Ramadan said such campaigns willcontinue in all areas of the governorate. He said the campaigns resulted inissuing 150 warnings and removing 30 encroachments and 500 advertisements fromstreets and yards.
