Bangladesh Sufi Muslim killed in suspected Islamist attack

KUWAIT: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) recently organized a vibrant Open Day in an atmosphere that was filled with fun activities, sports competitions, and cultural events. The Open Day provided a refreshing opportunity for employees to bond outside of their regular work environment, strengthening relationships and fostering a sense of camaraderie.

On this occasion, Loai Muqames, CEO-Kuwait at ABK, said, “We recognize the significant role our employees play in our success, and we continuously strive to create a supportive and enjoyable work environment for them. Furthermore, by inviting their families, ABK aimed to support a better work-life balance and strengthen family ties.

Throughout the day, team-building activities were planned to foster a healthy sense of competition and engagement among employees revolving around teambuilding and collaboration. On this occasion, Afrah Alarbash, General Manager of Human Resources, said, “This event highlights the significance of connecting employees’ personal values with our corporate values, reinforcing the importance of remaining engaged and connected to the Bank’s mission and culture.”

Alarbash also emphasized the importance of fostering a cohesive team dynamic, highlighting the Bank’s efforts to promote teamwork and healthy competition among employees. She emphasized, “ABK is dedicated to understanding and meeting the needs of our workforce by regularly conducting surveys to enhance the overall work experience.

We continuously invest in the professional development of our employees, offering extensive training programs and educational workshops in collaboration with industry experts.” Furthermore, ABK is committed to promoting employee wellness through informative workshops, health seminars, and sporting events.
