KUWAIT: KuwaitInternational Airport customs officers arrested a passenger who tried tosmuggle 22 kilograms of marijuana into the country. This comes on the heels ofanother attempt to smuggle 300 kg of the banned substance by boat, which wasrecently prevented by customs. Kuwait Customs Department Director JamalAl-Jalawi gave instructions to send the suspect, and African national, toconcerned authorities.
