KUWAIT: The inspection team of the audit and follow-up department at the Ahmadi Municipality concluded an inspection campaign on commercial shops in the industrial area in Fahaheel which resulted in issuing 10 violations that were related to the placement of advertisements without licensing.

Head of the department Saad Al-Shiba has reiterated that stores must follow rules and regulations stipulated by the Municipality in place, as inspection campaigns will continue on stores and adjacent stores throughout the day and night to proceed with legal procedures against any violators.

In other related news, the Commerce and Industry Ministry has shut down seven centers of oil change services for selling counterfeit oil in violation of the law. It also causes harm to consumers' vehicles and threatens the safety of passengers.

The violations have been recorded after a dense campaign launched by the commerce ministry on oil replacement shops in Omayriah, Salmiya, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Al-Naeem, Bayan, Adan and Qusoor areas. The commercial supervision team proceeded with legal action against violators following the raid.
